Polymorphism and Arrays
I'm trying to create a class Deck (IE a deck of cards) that works with arrays of class Card. The part I'm having trouble with is that I want this deck to work with all kinds of cards and am therefore working with classes that inherit the class Card (In this case a class ResourceCard : public Card.) ...

Re: Anyone Good With Dual Monitor Setups?
Switched to a VGA cable and everything is running smooth. Doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the DVI cable, working fine for another monitor. Oh well, I'm glad it's fixed. Thanks for all the help guys.

Re: Anyone Good With Dual Monitor Setups?
Yeah, sorry. It's an LCD so degauzing isn't going to help. Should have been more specific.
some specs:
19" LCD
ATI Radeon 3800
Windows Vista
Thanks for all the replies, still trying to puzzle this out.

Anyone Good With Dual Monitor Setups?
I just got a new monitor, and since my video card supports it, I thought I'd try a dual monitor set up. I have everything configured so that it displays like I want it to except one really annoying glitch. The second monitor (the old 19") twitches a pixel or two left and right, and frames will ...

Re: Why do I procrastinate so?
We procrastinate so much because we have better things to do than trivial school projects! Cheers! So get this. The project is the entirety of the class grade. I hand it in to him and without so much as a glance, he marks 100 on his grade sheet and thanks me for my hard work the semester. Should I ...

Why do I procrastinate so?
Put my VB final project off to the day before it was due. 16 straight hours of code and it's ready to turn in, so I'm heading down to do just that in twenty minutes. Just praying I don't crash in the meantime and have it all be for naught.

Bit Masking Help
I am trying to write an algorithm to create an SDL_Surface and build on it a white silhouette of the image from another SDL_Surface (source). I iterate through each pixel in the SDL_Surface and grab the R G and B values of that pixel. If the RGB is equal to transparency key, I draw a pixel of the tr...

One of my co-workers is a botanist. I'm going to see what he knows about them and what it would take to grow them.

Gameplay sounds pretty fresh! Unfortunately I don't have an iPhone, but I'll find a way around that in order to get a chance to play.

I have a Darkrai that I got at the special even thing. I believe there's a way that I can use my game to allow others to acquire it, but I'm not really sure how to do that.

Whiskey Drenched Bluegrass!
Old Man Markley is a sweet new Bluegrass band based out of LA. They opened for Bad Religion for their 30 year anniversary show. They're a bit more upbeat than Old Crow Medicine Show and they do a great cover of "In The Jailhouse Now" from Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?
