Re: Struggling with coffee cup calculus problem
This is the original worded problem: Coffee Cup Problem: Suppose you pour a cup of coffee. When it is poured, it is at D = 130 degrees Fahrenheit above room temperature. Three minutes later it has cooled to 117 degrees F above room temperature. As the coffee cools the instantaneous rate of change of...

Struggling with coffee cup calculus problem
Hey! I'm in AP Calculus in HS and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong in this problem. It's about the rate at which a coffe cup filled with coffee cools down. Re: Programming practice
Ok, thanks. I've already done GLUT/OPENGL and SDL with lazyfoos tutorials. I'm just kinda bored of that and like the simplicity of just setting up console applications, like doing projecteuler stuff.
MUD sounds cool, I'll check it out! :P

Programming practice
Hey. Moved to the US for a year and haven't really visited the chaos rift since I moved here. Anyway, here's my request: Do you guys know of a place to find ideas for practicing programming? I've been doing some of the problems at Project Euler, but they're really focused on math problems, not devel...

Re: Degrees with SDL coordinate system
Sorry for not replying, my comp. was at repair for like a month (stupid ash-cloud preventing part transport) and now I had exams, so I haven't been around or devved a lot. Why use angles when you can use vectors? Yes, it could be an option to generate a vector at a certain angle, but other than that...

Re: Good sandbox games?
I think I can safely recommend Red Dead redemption if you like GTA, it comes out this week so I haven't played it. Seems to be GTA+Western with awesome graphics. And it's got really high review scores.
It's PS3/X360 only though...

Re: Humble Indie Bundle
I got World of Goo and Pneumbra (spelling?). World of Goo is pretty neat, I like it. I still haven't tried Pneumbra (spelling?). It looks scary :X Penumbra is a bit scary, but I quickly got stuck, smashed everything I could and gave up :P I guess it's not my type of game :P You should try Aquaria t...
