It was OK to begin with, but as soon some action took place... OMFG. I could literally count the frames! How is that even possible for a game first targeted for Windows 95?! Don't ever play it.

Do you want to be prepared for the ES engine and toolkit? Do random low level graphics programming to get a basic understanding of whats under the hood. Start with SDL and basic openGL. Then you can set up a Cygwin environment and start to play around with PVR. And of course - learn your c++. None o...
