Re: J-fail: Unstoppable
I don't WANT to like it...but it does look good. Meh. Same. But hey, on the bright side you can only respect an XNA game so much. *goes off to be a conceited C++ coder* Nah. Whether a game is made on XNA, Allegro, whatever your poision is, its still a game. All that matters is rather the final prod...

Re: PS3 VS Xbox 360
Console warz discussion is a pain in the ass, but here it goes... I like my Xbox 360, and I havent really used a PS3 much so I cant really say if its better or worse. There are games I would like to play that are exclusive to the PS3. I just wish PS3 fanboys would get off saying how much "awsom...

Re: J-fail: Unstoppable
Hmm.
Visual quality is ok, but I wouldnt mind seeing more than 4 framed animation. I also like the fact that they seem to have gotten the flashlight thing right (I had to adjust my TV the last time I played a game with that effect).
I cant really say anything more until I actually play it.

Re: Do you think robots will soon replace the military?
Do you think robots will soon replace the military? No. Right (and sorry for rehashing an old post). AI would never be able to think like an actual human being and tell things apart. I could get shot by a robot soldier from holding a pencil, or an ice cream cone, or some ordinary everyday object th...

Re: Dream-Build-Play 2009 Challange
I would have a go, probably not a very big game, but I don't know enough C# and XNA, i don't have an xbox and I'm only 12. Thats not stopping you from learning! You should trying going through some tutorials and try making a small game from scratch afterwards. I'm not saying it is. I'm doing some C...

Re: XNA Creators Club
Hi! I have only started with XNA because it seemed to be the easist way to make games at a near-industry standard (preparing for the future). Not to mention you could make Xbox 360 games. It has worked great for me sence. Like one of the above posters above said, the Creators Club is like a more for...
