Re: Fred Phelps' Clan of Controversy
I know in the constitution it states right to freedom of speech and peaceful assembly, but isn't this worthy of a lawsuit for emotional distress? I mean it has to be in there for going to someone's funeral and making everyone more sad about their loss, especially since they might already be suicidal...

Great, now you need to pay to view YouTube videos.
Not only does this go against YouTube's foundation, but it's one of the worst business moves in fucking history.

Re: Creating Original Music for your Games
Since it hasn't been asked yet, what musical knowledge do you have, what chords and scales do you know? Learn every chord and scale you come across by heart, know how they work and what their purpose is, next find some sheet music, find out how the scales and chords are incorporated. I did that with...

Re: Gameboy RPGs
Back in my day before they all these colored vidja games and alpha channels, I played tons of GB RPGs. I had at least 30 or 40 beaten by the time I was 10, don't remember most of their titles because I sold them off in pawne shops after I beat them, which I regret. Pokemon Red/Yellow/Blue(All 3) Fin...

Re: Final Fantasy XIII
I can't wait for it.
I want them to go back to Final Fantasy VI style battle, and exploring everything yourself. In that demo it looked like all the exploring was done through cutscenes, which is unapealling to me.
Buying it first minute it comes out though.

Re: Favorite Class
Warrior. I love no magic and just kicking straight ass. Makes it more fun IMO. If they have summoner/tamer I pick that though. My favorite is the battle mage, so they are the ones that are warriors but also use spells They ended up dubbing me "Spellwarrior," which made me feel like they we...

Re: Official "Hello, World! (I'm new!)" thread
I know I'm not new, but I figured I would come back. I'm sure most of you remember me for posting a lot of really stupid things, as I just posted whatever crossed my mind. So, sorry for that, and if I do post again I will try to make it intellegent and at least sort of close to semi-worth reading. ...

Sonic 4
Sonic 4 is finally being released after what, 15 years now? It's for all 3 systems I believe, and is downloadable content. And to make the fanboys and/or people who grew up on Sonic wet themselves, it's another brightly colored 2D game with cartoony music. One thing I don't like is how this game is ...

Re: Tips for learning a new programming language or library?
One problem I have with programming books is that they're extremely wordy, which doesn't mix well with me having the attention span of a semi-retarded gnat. What I do is try to find the most important things from each topic and write them down in a notebook, and try to make sense out of them by look...

Re: Barbie is now a computer engineer!
I was wondering the same thing... they seem to have already screwed up the computer. So according to the Barbie folks, we code in and read everything in binary on a regular basis? Haha, yeah, thats one of my hobbies is to not use editors, not to type source code, not to compile int object cod...
