Re: Vector arrays? ( luigi is a square lolz )
Check to make sure the texture you're binding for Luigi is created properly. That looks pretty similar to when you try to draw with an invalid texture.

Re: New(ish) To game programming, Were to go next?
AND i can't find out how to clear the buffer after you flip it to the screen, because when i move my player it permanently draws it to the screen( when i move it left it draws the player at every pixel between were i started to were i stopped). Holy cow, I'm working on a Pokemon knock-off right now and this is really motivating to see!
P.S. I'm 21 and still playing Pokemon since the Red/Blue days.

Re: You Can't Stay Awake [Competition Game]
Yeah, I've gotten a few reviews with actual helpful criticism suggesting some sort of indicator that something will appear or disappear that would aid in progression through the level. But part of our whole gimmick was exploring the different ways that the world changed as you became more or less sl...

Re: You Can't Stay Awake [Competition Game]
So apparently this game is awful. I'm getting terrible reviews on the message board this competition is for, saying there's no clear objective and they don't know what to do. It's weird, because I placed 2nd out of 40 from the judges, now its getting torn apart by regular players.

Luckily for you, my artist talked me into adding more content and polishing this up to release it on Xbox Live Indie Games. I can't get myself to look at code for awhile, so it...

Re: You Can't Stay Awake [Competition Game]
was wondering the approach you were going to take as far as enemies, puzzles, or whatever. Since there's no health in the game, the damage from enemies will just make you sleepier. Puzzles won't be anything too intricate. I could see myself expanding on this later, though. just curious what is your...

Seriously, though. If you throw a rockin' party and show it on Ustream, you can grab some more exposure for ES for the totally wrong reasons and it will be awesome.TheBuzzSaw wrote:However, I agree with the suggestion above. You should totally webcam live-stream pieces of the event.
