Congratulations trufun! That is so awesome. I hope to one day write a piece of software that is used professionally whether it be a game or a business application. :worship:

Re: who thinks there should be a game dev tutorial or help?

personly i think people learn more with a teacher than learning by them self and getting stuck on something (like me -_-") That is a very subjective opinion and has no bearing on this discussion. Like Xian and others have said, use the searchbar on this forum and you will find plenty of resour...

Re: My first game: A Zombie RPG

Wow... I hate to 'rain down on your parade', but that game sounds pretty complex for a first game... This is definitely quite the ambitious project, but I'm glad you've divided it into phases. You may quickly realize come phase 2 that you've bitten off a little more than you can chew but at least y...

Re: E-Newsletter?

I'm not sure if this is a good place for suggestions or requests but I'd like to make a couple. I would really like to see someone with a lot of experience in OO programming write an article about protecting data within games. When is it appropriate to make a class member public vs. when should they...

Re: Game Industry Tweet - J Force

It appears from their latest video that they've recruited Egoraptor for cutscenes in Unstoppable. This should really boost the popularity of the game. I may hate Jforce, but Egoraptor is hilarious.

Club Nintendo Posters

I recently registered for Club Nintendo on Nintendo's website which is basically a site to register your games/consoles and receive points in return. I didn't really expect to get much out of it but after registering about five games (all of your Wii/DS games should come with a small Club Nintendo s...

Re: Game Industry Tweet - J Force

Seriously guys? Seriously? I'm at 3k subscribers, and probably less than half of them actively watch my videos. Then consider the fact that JFail vs GyroVorbis is nowhere NEAR one of our most popular videos. We have nowhere near the audience that could purchase that many copies of the game. You guy...

Re: Game Industry Tweet - J Force

Not sure why, but I was browsing their website today to see if they had made any 'real' games since their Samurai Kirby ripoff and I stumbled across their sales stats http://jforcegames.com/blog/index.php?special=avatarshowdownsales Am I reading this right? Have they actually netted $40k off of this...
