Re: Post every time you beat a game.

FF 12 had some okayish game mechanics and arguably some of the sexiest graphics on the PS2 ever, but there was no plot, the pacing of the story was just awful so you end you with no attachment to the characters what so ever.

Re: Miserable morning...

I don't think it is just "now-a-days" that kids are using knives. By contrast London is a lot safer than when I was a kid. There were several kids in my school who as a matter of routine brought guns and knives with them to school. It is only because of a recent media interest that these k...

Re: Miserable morning...

According to the official Met Police statistics the safest places to live in London as far as crime and not getting murdered are Richmond or Kingston Upon Thames. Unfortunately they are well out of my budget(and pretty much most people's for that matter). LOL...it could always be worse. You could li...

I sincerely apologize. maybe i was rash to assume a post like, "Sooo.....Fox news reports another "fair and balanced"(<--sarcasm) news piece. Maybe I am just a cynic, but why does this surprise any of you? It is not like they haven't done a lot worse before. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...

Re: Media tries to linch game industry with its own intestines.

Not that im going to argue "the fair and balanced" comment, thats just opinion really. but if Fox news was so bad.. why are they the most watched news channel? and mind you not by a bit. http://tvbythenumbers.com/category/rati ... cable-news FNC – 1,459,000 viewers CNN – 561,000 viewe...

Re: Python Dictionary

I don't have the json Python library so can't run the code. I do have a tip to make your code more readable and succinct. Instead of... if answer == "a" or answer == "A" or answer == "a)" or answer == "A)": ...you could use... if answer.lower()[0] == "a&q...

Particle Fun with Pygame

Here is a small python script that creates a couple thousand particles and lets you throw them around. The particles all have a different rates of acceleration, top speeds and sizes. It has a rough approximation of gravity and friction. It took about 15 mins to write, but has a hypnotic effect on pe...
