The original portal, beat it in two sittings. Yay, now I can play portal 2 without spoiling the original! :) Haha same here just beat portal. Not doing much constructive tried playing portal 2 on my laptop and it choked... Will hopefully play it tomorrow on the desktop :D Other than that yesterday ...

haha wow. anyways I ended up using system graphics with a double buffer but I was tempted to use XNA, since it did have a sprite class and such. I've decided to create my own. You'll get good experience doing stuff on your own! ^^ Thats mainly what this project is for. Thanks. :) haha I don't know ...

Have variables in the game's state. ie. an array of quest statuses, an integer (or some other method) to determine story progression, and a few other things. That kind of thing wouldn't necessarily have to create an event, it would just have to change the game's state so things work a little differ...
