I'm looking for a general solution for capturing anything you can play on the PC. There are a lot of specific solutions that involve Playstation Media Server and similar technology, but I feel this will enable the headache of having to capture different streams for different services.

I mainly program in Java, and I have looked into the audiod package, but it seems to lack documentation in order to make it to where it wouldn't be a pain in the ass to implement. Yeah, I think the largest problem with my C# code was I made a lot of singletons. It made it really hard to maintain. I'm going to be attempting a component based system. The ship game would be pretty cool if you added asteroid or something similar flying towards a "planet" in the middle of the screen and the player must fly around the planet and destroy them with out shooting the planet. just my $.02
