The only things I can think of that would make it any different from a text editor is Syntax Highlighting, and maybe calling Lua to execute the script. Unless there was some sort of real-time syntax error checking, that would probably be rather difficult to program.

That reminds me: A few weeks ago we had a "game day" in computer science class where everyone that wants to brings in their game system of choice and we all play video games for the 1 1/2 hour class. The only consoles I have are PS2 and Atari, and my friend was borrowing my PS2 at the time...

In New Hampshire even if you take Driver's Ed you don't get road test waiver :P. I had to take it anyways. I did absolutely terrible (don't wanna go into details) and still passed. I would definitely recommend learning Pascal over anything like Visual Basic for your first language. In my opinion it teaches far better programming techniques.
