in the beginning of my assembly class we studied bitwise logic extensively. Of course i do find the background of these types of things rather interesting myself.

i agree with keeping your own library of code even if there is a copy of almost the same code out there at least your using your code ontop of that i think if you made the code yourself then it would be easier to just grab at any psuedo random time.

i use a coder's cable with my dc, of course i havn't actually done much programming for it got bored way to easy. That and usually had other things i needed to work on which made me more lazy. I'm such a lazy programmer i hope nobody hates me for that

honestly i think the best way to learn pointers is the assembly programming, I learned it that way and it gave me a great understanding into it. I won't say i'm good or anything with using them just saying i understand it.
