*wipes dirt off brow*
I chose Chipmunk over Box2D for my latest "project". It's more straight forward in my opinion. I also think the simulation is less floaty than Box2D's. I checked out the demos to get the basics.

Re: Trying to make a computer
The parts came in. I assembled it in dim light. I have already stumped my toe on it. It works but the screen hasn't arrived yet! Thanks for helping. EDIT: I keep reading everywhere that in order for dual channel ram to work it has to be inserted into the blue slots. But my mother board manual made i...

I'm just glad the sexy wreck doesn't have LEDs all on it. I think it makes computers look tacky and cheap.

Re: Trying to make a computer
Haha... when I was a youngin' I used to dream of making a computer out of clothespins. Arce, the sad thing is I didn't even know i5 was considered snazzy. I live under a rock. I'll spend less than $1000. EDIT: Does anyone have a graphics card that didn't cost $300 that they would recommend for a JSL...

Re: Trying to make a computer
Yeah guess I'll go with the 750. I'll be using this computer for whatever and probably won't buy another for a long long time. So I'm trying to get it half way decent.

I don't know much so maybe someone can help. I think I want the intel core i5 but apparently there are different ones? This one seems to have the most customers but this one is cheaper and has more ghz? I found this example of parts to buy but that video card seems really expensive. Same with the ca...

Re: New Gyromite
Good news everyone. The game is finished! I kid you. Yeah I have been meditating in my cave for 10 months. It got too musty so I left. I live in Georgia now and work a job for one year, a Co-Op. Here is my update... I don't like C++ anymore. It's black olives on my sandwich. SICK. Python is pepperon...

I'd love to take computer classes as well but due to slim class time selection it will never be possible.

God I really hate KDE and QT, at least visually. Someone show me a QT gui that doesn't look like it's from Mattel.
