Standing Ovation
First and foremost, sorry for the absence. Finals and some military functions have kept me away for some time now. Moving on to more important matters -- Gyrovorbis' new video. Loved it. I'm really impressed with how your work is progressing, and can't wait to see what the future holds for you guys....

Re: Mario Kart (Wii)
No, you play the online matches with your Wii account, which is specific to the console if I'm not mistaken ( and free to set up), to gain worldwide rating.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (PS3)
Action When I first learned of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, I was pretty excited. I even preordered it ( which I almost never do ) from my local GameStop. Well, turns out Lucas Arts did a pretty good job. The game has a unique storyline that entices and draws the player in, albeit a bit predicta...

Re: first_post2.0b - You are all great programmers.
I very cleverly changed the title so that GyroVorbis wouldn't think I was making a crack at their skills as programmers.

Re: first_post2.0b - You are all great programmers.
I have an Asian computer engineer with a Master's degree locked up in my basement... I couldn't help but think of Family Guy after reading that. There was an episode where Peter pulls out this little asian kid and sets him on his desk, then pokes him and says, "Do Math!" Thanks for the la...

Mario Kart (Wii)
Racing When you first think of Mario Kart, what comes to mind? You may think of the original SNES version that started it all. Or maybe you think of the 64 version that brought it bigger and better. Well, if you have yet to play Mario Kart for the Wii, you're missing out on a classic remade with to...

Resident Evil 4 (Wii)
Survival Horror As a big fan of the RE series, and having played RE4 for the PC, I was pleased when it was released for the Wii console. Anyone who has played one of the Resident Evil games knows they always impress. This game was no different. From the start of the game, the atmosphere is very unn...

... and on an on. im not saying its impossible, but improbably. like im more likely to get laid by supermans mom. Do you mean his actual mother Lara(Or was it Lora?), or his 'foster' mother Mary? With Lara/Lora you have the whole ageless beauty thing, but I guess if you're into the older gals then ...

Obscure: the Aftermath (Wii)
Multiplayer Survival horror The thing that stands out the most with this game is it's amazing sound track. The music, in my opinion, is out of this world. I found myself repeatedly going into the 'extras' area and just listening to the songs from the game. Some pretty okay graphics, and witty puzzl...

DragonSkin Body Armor better than Interceptor, but REJECTED?
As we all are quite aware of, technological advancements in reference to DOD and Military equipment account for a large portion of spending in our Nation. This is a small, but serious issue that really hits home being that I've experienced combat. Dragon Skin body armor, as some of you may know, was...

Re: A question for all you programmers out there, and Gyrovorbis
I knew registering here was a wise decision. The collaborative knowledge of all sorts of programmers coming together is a gold mine, in my opinion. Thank you all for the advice. To GyroVorbis: It's my pleasure, no thanks necessary. I'm looking forward to seeing your teams progress. To Marauder: I ma...

first_post2.0b - You are all great programmers.
I'm a soldier in the U.S. Army, but in my spare time of late I've been trying to pick up programming. I've done a few simple ( and I mean SIMPLE ) programs, nothing worth mentioning, but now I'd like to step it up a notch. I'm taking GyroVorbis' advice and starting with Blitz3D. My idea is to make a...
