Re: NGP: Will You Develop For It?

Well, I'm not sure about this, but didn't Sony say that it will feature the android market?
Anyway - making homebrew for a Sony product is now a no-go for me since that what happened to GeoHot (the guy who hacked the PS3) because who knows what Sony does next?

Re: I just found a PS2 in the street!

 ! I just found a PS3 in someone's house. Brand new. It was just laying there. Can you imagine? Anyway, it was a nice, sunny day, so I decided to do some jogging on my way back home and some people decided to tag along. One of them was the previous owner of this console and I think the other t...

Re: Module, extension or Add-On... How ?

Well, there are a couple of ways to do that. Use a scripting language like Lua or Phyton Well this is pretty obivous. Phyton is actually better for application-addons/plugins, because is a really big and complete language that can stand on its own. Use dynamic DLL loading Should be pretty self expla...

Isn't there a plugin or something for phpbb that enables facebook-similar "likes"?

Re: New to game dev: Classes Question

So my question is, are the any basic example on how to create some basic engine classes without getting too in depth for a beginner? or perhaps if anyone else has struggled with this in the past what you did to overcome it? Well, for this kind of question there is no easy answer imo. For the most p...

Re: Milch's Green Robot Engine Developement

Its UpdateTime ! Well, I didn't have that much time to code in the last week, but still got some work done. Most of the time I worked on the workflow to make it easier to push my maps/testing-commands to the device. At first I though about simply updating the content, re-compile everything, sent it ...

Re: QT

Well, I don't want to be a bitch or something, but I dont like to use Qt because of 2 reasons: 1. I was not able to get Qt running inside CodeBlocks - so I had to use QtCreator (Though, this not only a fault of Qt itself, its more less a fault on my side too) 2. Qt creates .moc files out of your sour...

Re: Milch's Green Robot Engine Developement

Funny I just asked for an update of this today... and here it is :). You probably won't get flamed for using java, I certainly can't say anything since I'm an oracle certified java programmer lol. Nice job so far man, looks like a really good foundation to build on. Oh well, you were actually my in...

Re: What u think about coming back to console for one project?

Hey and welcome to the forums! First: Don't try to do something this big at the very beginning. Start small and work your way up. Like you already said, doing Pong,TicTacToe maybe even Tetris is great for beginning - so stick with it and work your way up. I know, it may sound easy to do "just a...
