Re: What projects are you currently working on?
I am working on a 2d (local multiplayer, as in ~use the same keyboard~ style) game that has gameplay similar to Gauntlet II on the NES. All the graphics at the moment are shitty placeholders, but the engine itself is looking quite nice. It is written in Lua, using LÖVE. I would give a repo link but...

Re: Conceptual Talk: Realistic Game Audio
This is exactly something a friend and I have been passing ideas back and forth about for the project we're working. Actually... there's been a lot of posts that are covering ideas we had. I'm really glad I read through all the forums today. Anyways, I'm watching this thread very close. Thank you fo...

Re: A Simple NES Game
Thanks for the video, this is really cool! Music is awesome and game is great for a first go. Would be cool to some more movement patterns like sine waves or spirals. Thank you, I think my next project with the NES will be a little more ambitious, a platformer. Now i'd just like to say one thing wh...

Re: Please help a brother out!
For the record: This "charity" has nothing to do with ES. We have never and will never ask for your charity. We made one Youtube video asking for contributions for a CAMERA , but that was to provide you with HD entertainment, not to feed us. The things on Marcel's list have nothing to do ...

Donated! Hope it helps. I would definitely donate quite a bit more, but I've hit some financials pitfalls myself lately... Best of luck my friend!

Re: My first game: A Zombie RPG
Couldn't you embed this trailer into the XBOX Live page? It helps get a better idea of the game if you see what's happening, especially for people who don't follow your work. This game looks absolutely sophisticated. Good work. yea i wish we could throw the trailer up there! but unfortunately no, t...

I'm soooooo glad you didn't quit working on this... You just receded into the shadows and kept your head low for awhile (like we do). I'm not an XNA Creator club member, but I am excited as shit to buy this when gets released! Yep been following him on youtube and twitter, and I can hones...

Re: Dreamcast - Kos Makefiles
I'm not sure if you can still buy a coder's cable anywhere, but those are ok for small stuff. I heard the SD card reader is pretty good as well. Nothing even comes close to using a BBA though. I highly recommend investing in one if you're planning on doing some serious DC devving. I first planned o...

Re: Dreamcast - Kos Makefiles
I initially started trying to test on an emulator. I do not condone this method. The DC emulators hardly work, and when they do, they don't work well. You're better off just burning your image to a CD and booting it up. Just buy one of those cheap packs of 100 CD-Rs for like 20 bucks.

Re: Post every time you beat a game.
Super Mario Bros. (NES) As I'm practicing to speed run this game, I beat it about 10 times a day (and that's with a lot or resets) A little over 6 minutes on average, as I don't do many risky tricks yet Playing on an actual NES or emulator? I play on both, but mostly I play on an emulator so I can ...

I need to find the time to watch this... I use GIT like a moron, honestly. I know commit, push, and pull. Every once and again, I get really adventurous and branch the bitch. :) You're missing out on soo much. Ever heard of git-bisect? True. But I have a feeling the command the ES team would use th...
