You guys all have it wrong... clearly all code should be written in straight binary right into an executable format!
Who needs a compiler when you can just write straight binary!

who the hell writes games in C/++?
all the great games; Assassin's Creed, Borderlands, Jane's strip poker party extravaganza, they were all written in Smalltalk
so clearly, smalltalk is the way to go, and not C++ or some shit...
