Yes, this post is being made entirely from the little white box. I got my broadband adapter and it's amazing. well worth the money.
I can't believe the speed of this bab. JSL, your internet connection was just pwnt by my Dreamcast...
This is amazing. The browser is awesome too. Javascript support, flash support, all the goodness.
You aren't a DC fan or devver until your white box is online...

Alright, I might as well describe my setup.
I've been working on it for awhile. I have 2 network cards on my PC. One connecting my PC to the router and to the internet, and one connecting to the BBA on my Dreamcast. I created a bridge from my PC to my DC so that my Dreamcast is getting online through the computer.
That's pretty sweet because I'm posting on my Dreamcast right now and watching what i post on my PC (both are online).
The speed is almost outrageous. It's so nice too, because I have keyboards and mice for the full experience.
I even went online with Samba De Amigo and downloaded the songs.
I'm also really impressed by the browser. Even HS's GIGANTIC animations are loading and are displaying perfectly.
I'm getting ready to play some Phantasy Star REALLY onine or Quake III Arena.
Oh, and also. If I click on a VMU save file, (GameFAQs.com and other sites have them. I hope TCR will one day have them also), it offers to download directly to my VMU. Same goes with minigames.
Damn guys, THIS is NextGen right here. Show me that the X-box or PS2 can do this. Only... they can't. I might be impressed if they could browse the web.
NOT. They'd still be outdone by a little white box that came out 3 years earlier.
I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying my beautiful DC being online. It's AWESOME.

Hey, JSL, I'm just kidding. seriously, I deserve to have the shit pimp slapped out of me for being such an arrogant ass in the last few posts.
I'm serious though. I even made VMU animations and downloaded them from TheChaosrift. I think there's a way to make the DC Puru pack even rumble in HTML (special tag that's ignored by other browsers).
I had personally always thought the DC online was more of a ... fun thing. No, it's a completely different experience. i'm even etting on IRC chat with this baby. I watch lots of flash movies at Newgrounds also.
Just a few minutes ago, i got on Quake III Arena online. I got on a server and freaked people out by telling them I was on a Dreamcast when they were all on PCs running windows Xp.
Man, this is DC to the next level.

There is nothing that is required that you don't already have.
It's just harder with certain things that you do have.
You set up a bridge between your PC and Dreamcast so that your Dreamcast basically dials up through your PC. That way they're both sharing internet access. There is a whole walkthrough somewhere and you're in luck because I couldn't get it to work with windows XP.
Pre-windows XP versions are supposed to be alot easier.
Also, some more coolness I've found. If you click on an HTML file upload form, it lets your browse your VMU for files. I can save Javascript cookies and crap to my VMU. This browser is some serious shizzle I say.
It really makes me want to put some VMU games, files, and animations on TCR. Looks like getting them is actually not that hard after all. I had no clue that it was a matter of simply clicking with the browser.
