Nokia's N-Gage
What do you think of this peice of handheld gaming hardware. The first thing I thought when I heard about N-Gage was HOLY CRAP, I HAVE to get one of them!
But when they came out, Oh gawd. I'd rather stick with my primitive 25 pound gray gameboy and my 30 pound gamegear than this. No offense to you N-Gage worshippers, but WTF? How can this be a gaming console? No no no no no! This is a fancy cell-phone. That is all that N-gage is capable of being. Yes, the graphics and specs are much more able than GBA, but with a screen the size of my Dreamcast's Visual Memory Card (with all due respect to the VMU, a screen for a memory card? Hell yes!) and so many damn buttons that are useless, this machine really isn't fit for gaming.
I busted out Tony Hawk's Pro Skater at the demo N-Gage at my local Rhino Games. The graphics were awesome (from what I could see in that little screen) and sound was nothing short of perfect mp3 quality. So I skate along. I go off some huge halfpipe. Halfway through my mad rage of tricking skateboard furry, the game just stops. It seems like if you hit any button besides those used for the game, it stops. That is crap. Not to mention the button config is so random you may accidently slip and hit another one.
N-Gage = Kewl Cell Phone
N-Gage != Gaming Console
What do you folks think?

*the next day, waiting until next Sunday for the new episode of Viva La Bam- Ok so I am in gamestop and Me and Coal see this N gage thing on the Shelf and I pick it up and look at it and I am like awesome! A phone and game! Then I am turning the box around staring at the amazing grafix for a cell phone and see this ungodly unaffordable price tag on it.(I can't remember how much it was, I guess I was in shock) then I throw down the box and go look at some of the 12 cent nintendo games.

Yeah, you're right Showdin. A sequel the N-GAGE (that is how it is spelled fools!) Will be released. Nokia bosts that it has sold multiple million N-gage's in the first week, but private reporters say the numbers are more like a couple thousand.
I don't understand. The N-gage has just a handful of games. What the hell could an N-gage sequel possibly hope to achieve?

n-GAYge
I played this at the mall yesterday and WTF?!?! OK SO I push this button and i'm playing sims walking around and stuff when suddenly I press this button and a menu pops up. I say no big deal I'll just close it. So I press this other button and it says enter a contact for your phone feature but then it says demonstration mode has no phone feature so I try to get to the game but it turns out I was typing a Job Title for myself. It looked something like this
(6,g.g48v3mkff) SERIOUSLY! well I'm starting to get mad now but then I look up and I see a list of buttons and what they do so I say KOO and I press a button called return to game and it says WEB and so then I gave up because n-GAYge sucks a-s-s [/u]
