I considerer companies strong when they are large and profitable, which Nintendo is.

I'm not hearing any tolls of doom from the Revolution myself, especially after hearing the pricings of the other 2 next-gen'ers.

I'm saying that Sega is simply working for other companies and shit. That's not my problem. What pisses me off is that all these little 6 year olds that like Sonic only know it from the new gen systems, rather than actually playing the good Sonic games. This is why I say Sega is losing Sonic.

JSL, Nintendo isn't "largely profitable" anymore. They were solely surviving on the GBA. Now that the PSP is out and the DS is a peice of shit, things are going to change.

Correction:

Nintendo is far from losing money. In fact, they're the most profitable company of the three. As opposed to Sony and Microsoft they've made money of every sold console so they're not solely surviving on the GBA. Speaking of handhelds, the DS is outselling PSP 2 to 1.

Nintendo is losing money, albeit slowly. Technically, they still have profit, but as far as making money...well no. The DS is outselling the PSP not 2 to 1, but it is outselling it. Last time I checked it was 18 million to 10 million units. Something like that. And it's all because of the pricepoint, and the stupidity of the American consumer. Take into account--95% of the PSP and DS sales come from parents buying it for their kid. Now you know that those parents are going to go with the cheaper choice, not the better choice. I'm surprised the PSP is even keeping up as well as it is--it's mostly due to Japan.

The thing that's really still making them money is the GBA.

Well I admit Sonic Hereos wasn't that great. Also Sega isn't working for all of the other companies what about sony they make some games for Lamecube and Nintendo is making games for playstation 2 and all the other systems. I don't know what is giving you the idea of Sega working for the other video game companies Spideyspiderman2000. Btw Sega works for Sammy the slot machine company. 1.5 million PSP units versus 1.8 million DS units
3.2 million PSP software pieces versus 3.4 million DS software pieces (and think that they wouldn't have NEARLY as much if almost every store didn't sell the DS with Mario 64 DS)
