P.E.G.
Perpetual Energy Generator. I trully believe I have figured it out. I have even drawn out the plans for it (rough sketch). the only thing that has me kinda skeptical is the fact that no one has thought of this, actually simple, concept yet. But I think it will really work. If I ever get myself up to it, I want to get a patent on it. Then save up some money for supplies and build a crude prototype.
The second thing that worries me, is Gas Companies.... If this actually works, I'd probably die mysteriously, and PEG would be forgotten.

I had a friend once who thought about putting a magnet inside a sphere of magnets, so it would keep spinning. The secret to designing a perpetual energy machine seems to be not to necessarily generate energy -- just make something that will work (move) forever, and someone will find a way to harness it.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

No I'm not. I've been pondering this concept for about 2 years, AND I'm not about to let some one STEAL IT!!!! by posting it on the net. You're kidding, right?
The reason I believe it will supply perpetual energy, is the variables. The mechanism that alows for this process to work is constant, while the mechanism that generates power can be changed higher or lower without altering the first. So it is possible to generate more energy then required. PEG!.
Edit - Sorry if you where expecting me to tell you how it would work, maybe after the patent. I was just wanting to see your views on the topic.

I KNEW that you were going to say that. Funny thing is, you have a point. Will you tell me on MSN? I SWEAR TO GOD I wouldn't dare steel your work.
Hell, I will tell you my secret to life while we're at it...

Um...
Why not make a solar powered light that powers it self and something else?
Oh and you know those watches that whenever you move your arm it winds it well couldn't you put a machine on Earth so big that it can tell the Earth is moving and that would power it?
Or just put some thing on the moon to convert matter to energy.
Who here has heard of E=mc2.
These ideas arent exactally Perpetual motion but they could work and if someone steals an idea here they better give me at least 70% profits.

This is a joke about unfunny jokes. And bad use of irony.

Because you'd have to have more than 100% efficiency. What we can do with a bit more advancement is make something 98% efficient and use an external fuel source to power the other 2%. Like the way your battery is charged in your car... 'cept a bit more widespread. Why not make a solar powered light that powers it self and something else?
