It's not so much that I don't think it possible (though I'm not sure that the scientific explanation for it makes enough sense (or was detailed enough to draw a conclusion from)), but I think this gave it away:

Sounds like a joke to me. People aren't normally such assholes by factory default.
OMFG!!!!!111 :boobies:
If it is true, we only have less than 9 years left of our lives. Quick everyone start going to church. Lol, I think thats all bs. Even if it is true those so-called scientists are smart enough to find a way to destroy it.
I don't know, I haven't heard about it from elsewhere. Sucks if true. Hey, maybe it will scare the peeps into actually doing cool space stuff like building massive space station/ships..... and HOTELS!!

BTW, if that cloud is traveling at light speed... how did they spot it? Wouldn't it's image (image as in any detection of it) be visable only when it is already on us?

The top was much more obvious which is why I selected that for highlighting.
If you were trying to mock me by not pointing out the URL, I highlighted the part I did becuase it seemed as if Gyro completely missed it and thought the article was for real.
The first thing I read on that mug was "Gossip" but since we all know that gossip and tabloids can't be just made up (that would be illegal)... it has to be true. Duh.
BTW, Xylene's screenshot pwns yours Mar because the bottom of that box of yours has a gap in it. Duh.

I was just reinforcing it with other things that could have been seen :P
I'm not a big mocker.
GV is blind whee....
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.
yeah lol, i'm the one who originally showed that article to gyro, and i didn't spot the weekly world news part until just now either, lol. However the unprofessional and egotistical ring it had to it is what gave it away as a bunch of bs to me, so don't think i thought it was true until just now.
