That also leads me to say that I don't approve of the Playstation releases of any of these games. So code veronica (X) for PS2 is garbage. I stay true to my roots:
1) Resident Evil (director's cuts) - Sega Saturn
2) Resident Evil 2 - Sega Dreamcast
3) Resident Evil 3 - Sega Dreamcast
4) Resident Evil Code Veronica - Sega Dreamcast.
I just don't settle for the Playstation garbage. I own all of my titles for Sega.
Also, Jill is mine. No questions. And nobody here better think about showing me up at resident evil, I'd own you so quickly...
So any PS2 game is automatically garbage? Most of those were straight up ports, so nothing about the game actually changed, just the console. How does that make it garbage? If you have something against a console, that shouldn't affect your views on the games themselves.

I'm just pissed at Sony for destroying my favorite white box. Don't let my irrelevant opinions sway you. I personally do believe that the Sega versions are better though. Look at the facts. The remake of RE for Saturn after the initial release for Playstation did have worse graphics because of inferior hardware, but it had another sidequest minigame. The REs for Dreamcast (2-3) were better in every way because the DC is WAY more powerful than PS1 (128 bit vs. 64 bit). Not to mention all of the extras that the DC featured. Also, the DC versions (seriously a proven fact) have better graphics than the remade Gamecube versions. Then, lastly, we have Resident Evil: Code Veronica. This game technically should of been better for PS2 because the hardware is superiour, but because they tried to cram all of that glory into one disc, the graphics were reduced and lots of things were lost.
Seriously the Sega Versions were better.
PS2 really isn't that bad. I have one...

Even though it's definitly one of the coolest games ever, I just really hate four. I remember Ada being dead, Leon being retarded, and the Viruses raising hell. Not Ada coming back, Leon being some badass, and "Plaga". Capcom really fucked up changing RE's story so much. Gameplay rules on 4, though!

I honestly liked the fresh story for RE4 though killing zombies is fun and all there is only so many ways you can bring back the same consept after a period of time. I am just glad they got rid of the horrable pre-rindered backgrownds and you can upgrade you weapons.
Hmmm....I think Krauser is the best. I love playing with him on the merc mission thing. I just wish you could get his bow in the main story.
Leon is ok just because you hafta play as him through the game.
My favorite boss tough I would hafta say is the plagas salamander. (the big fish lizard boss you hafta kill with the harpoons)
I also like the village cheif. He was gooey.
Oh and the merchant clones. Its fun to kill them...
