Getting a PS3 Wednesday.

PS3 just won this generation. Why? Playstation 2.

Yesterday, I got home from school. I called every locale I could possibly think of. Not a single electronics supplier told me that they didn't have a line of 50 people that had camped for two straight days for the PS3.

The average ratio was about 20 people camping for 5 PS3s. Anybody who thought the PS3 wouldn't sell, is a complete idiot. When 50 people line up at a Wal-Mart way the FUCK out in Ardmore (by Peter's house, right next to nowhere) in Alabama for a $600 console, that's usually an indicator.

With this said, the PS3s are selling for a very MINIMUM of $3000 on Ebay. If you manage to get a launch PS3 and sell it before the second batch, you are guaranteed to have money for a PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii, no effing joke, people.

Which is why I've hatched a plan. Of all places, K-Mart said that they were releasing their PS3's Wednesday morning. After a bit of talking, I got the manager's phone number (no, I didn't have to sleep with her for it). She's gonna call me and help make sure that I'm in first as long as I at least camp a night for it.

Not sure when I'll start camping, but damn straight I'm going to be there Tuesday night. John Hergenroeder and maybe a few others are in on this scheme and are camping with us. This K-Mart is in a pretty bad area way out on the Parkway. We're hoping that the odd location will help, but somebody is probably going to try to jump us in the night or something. Oh well, we can take them.

So yeah, all I did was type in "Playstation 3" on ebay, and when my parents saw what it was going for, they handed me $600 and told me I could skip school to make sure I get one of the bastards. Thanks for creating your little artificial shortages, Sony, I owe you one.
