Actually, it might of been. I keep forgettingJS Lemming wrote:Dude, is that not the second time you've done that!!GyroVorbis wrote:I wrote up this huge long review explaining why JSLs game is the best in the site and proving that Sonic guy to be a moron.
The sub-par site asks for a username and password AFTER you review. So all that for nothing. . .

It used to be on the old site I think... but that was quite a few servers ago. Other sites "borrowed" it so I guess it will always be floating around somewhere.
Oh hey, some site directly linked to thechaosrift.com so I guess it is still here. Download

JSL gave me this when I pm'ed him for the game
I have two versions out. Mario: The Last Castle was the original game I made long ago.
Mario Bloodbath is the more recent (but still old) edit of the original with the only difference being the enhanced blood engine, automatic weapon, extra boss, and a couple new levels.
Each are enjoyable in there own way... or not, depending on your platforming skillz (some claim they are way too hard while others say they're perfect).
PS: If you play Bloodbath, take note that you can enter the door at the end of the first level... I apparently didn't make that obvious enough. The first boss is in the second level and is worth witnessing :P.

I will also agree. Everything down to the editor had an amount of polish that only the most ambitious could achieve.
I remember playing that game raw. Jumping Goombas, lol.
Oh, and lets not forget SuperBreakdown *cough*chaos*cough*.
JSL, I hope one day you find time for devving again. Now that I look back, it seems you picked up programming faster than any of us. I remember back when you guys were devising ways to handle slopes in NEStix Chaotix. (and no, I still didn't delete that topic. ;P)

Holy shit.. that's the hardest game I have ever seen. The freakin mushrooms maul me to death in such a manner that I can't possibly win.. I can't shoot them when they're in the same space as me o.O And those darned evil cement blocks falling from the sky murder me as well. I couldn't get past the second crazy mushroom on the first level (on top of the shaft where you have to jump on alternating sides with green pipes to get up). It's still really fun though.. Everything loaded fine. :P
I guess I just suck at these kinda games.. (the one's where things go crazy and start attacking you outta nowhere) lol.
