Favorite Movie or Show Vehicle
Ok, so I have seen lots of Sci-Fi shows / movies thus far, and I was just wondering what was your most favorite "vehicle". Note that it doesn't have to be a car, it can be anything (not even a Sci-Fi vehicle, although "Sci-Fi" and "cool" usually go hand-in-hand). For me it's a tough call. I pretty much like all Sci-Fi vehicles, but these are my top three:
1: The TARDIS from Doctor Who. Who wouldn't like a little blue box that's bigger on the inside, virtually indestructible, travels through time AND space, disguises itself like it's surroundings (except for the Doctor's TARDIS, on which that feature is broken), translates alien languages for all passengers, can dematerialize / rematerialize, tumbles about randomly while in "flight", and is somewhat sentient?
2: KITT from Knight Rider (the original show, not that bastard child new one). A perfect vehicle if you have a bit of road rage...
3: The DeLorean from Back to the Future. "When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious shit."
-Matt
EDIT:
It can be from a game or comic or whatever as well...

- Any Transformer.. How about a vehicle that can look any way you want and kick asses at the same time.

Re: Favorite Movie or Show Vehicle
Here's a video showing it in a very unusual moment... it actually flying along. Usually it just vanishes at point A and reappears at point B.dandymcgee wrote:I've never heard of TARDIS but it sounds pretty awesome..

What the clip doesn't show is the TARDIS on fire after the trip was done... It is over 900 years old.
EDIT:
Replaced clip with better one (correct aspec ratio).

The Speeder Bike from Return of the Jedi. They look damn fun to ride, until you slam into a tree.

Re: Favorite Movie or Show Vehicle
I would have to say...
Starbug from red dwarf ( the UK version, never seen the US one), I love that show, watched it for a long time !
I second the delorean, because you can't deny that was a great symbol of Back to the Future and the 80's, I also like the subtle joke when they used a car that was 'ahead of its time'
the VW camper van from LOST, I love LOST! and I would just love to have one of them with a big old DHARMA logo slapped over the top of the VW logo
those were my three, I also like the TARDIS, with it's chameleon circuit and eccentric inhabitants!

And now a joke to lighten to mood :D
I wander what programming language anakin skywalker used to program C3-PO's AI back on tatooine? my guess is Jawa :P

What the fuck's wrong with you people!?
Obviously SpeedRacer's wheels would own any of the above--he just hits a random button and it'll do whatever you want!
Kinda like that "go go gadget" dude...

Re: Favorite Movie or Show Vehicle
One of our previous Landlords had one parked in our garage through the duration of out time renting his house. I must say , it was bad as all fuck. I was half expecting dry ice when the doors opened upwards and I heard the eerie "wooosh..."The DeLorean is definitely one of my favorite cars of all time.

The Mach 5 is by far the best car ever created. From the old show not the shitty movie, that is...
