New keyboard!
Piano keyboard, bitches. Meet my new Yamaha MM8:
http://www.moosader.com/YamahaMM8.jpg
It's the only thing I was asking for for Christmas. I told my parents I'd be content with one of the cheaper full-sized weighted ones, but they were willing to spend $1,000 on me. @_@;;
I can't wait to be done with school so I can play around more.
And, obviously, music in games will sound a lot better. >_<; It's really hard to make songs in Musagi, blah. Now I can record separate tracks on the piano and transfer to PC as a wave file, or record on PC as midi.
I want to play music, but I have too much homework. T_T

I can't wait to hear your new rendition of 'lawn long' on PoS now that you have some new kit
Seriously though, nice piano, should help assist you in making some pretty good music for your games!

Re: New keyboard!
Maybe it's because I'm a girl, but every time I've done something piano-related for a guy, it's turned out AWFUL.avansc wrote:i wish i could play piano. i bet id get more ass if i was a badass pianist.
Wrote a song for one guy... he cheated on me.
Remixed a song for another... He wasn't really interested in dating me at all.
Played a song for another... He like(s/d) me, but has a girlfriend. And now he barely even talks to me anymore... -_-;
Re: New keyboard!
i guess its just because lots of girls can play piano. mayby if you had like overhauls on and some grease on your face.LusikkaMage wrote:Maybe it's because I'm a girl, but every time I've done something piano-related for a guy, it's turned out AWFUL.avansc wrote:i wish i could play piano. i bet id get more ass if i was a badass pianist.

Re: New keyboard!
before I clicked that, I just KNEW that was what it was going to be (or a rickroll )
I think people under estimate the effort that I would imagine goes into a romantic gesture like composing a song, or peforming one for someone...

i think people underestimate how sezy i chicky with bearing grease smudges on her face and her buns slightly jiggling from the rheumatic wrench.programmerinprogress wrote:before I clicked that, I just KNEW that was what it was going to be (or a rickroll )

but yeah. i really dont think doing big things like that would impress me much. i think the small things are much more important, i had a girlfriend once that would put little post-it notes in my day planner like "i love you" or whatever. that mean more to me that about anything.

Re: New keyboard!
I used to pack Brandon's lunch when he had a diff job, and I wrote "I <3 Dono" in [my] lunchbox with a sharpie. :P
Of course, now I have that in my lunchbox still. Woo.
He's never been very receptive to little things or romantic stuff in general. Never really got around to playing or writing music for him. ;P

well if someone does not appreciate little things they in my opinion wont make good life partners. especially if you like that kinda stuff..LusikkaMage wrote:I used to pack Brandon's lunch when he had a diff job, and I wrote "I <3 Dono" in [my] lunchbox with a sharpie. :P

Re: New keyboard!
You're just jealous that I don't pack lunches for you. ;D
Seriously, if someone would be my roommate they'd have it so nice. I'd cook and clean and share my video games. ;-;
But nope. No responsible, single friends, and I can't move out by myself because of monies. :[
This is seriously off topic.

Re: New keyboard!
Lusikka, you are welcome to tell your friends, family, and acquaintances to go to hell, drive out to Alabama, and come live with me. Any woman who packs me lunches immediately has my respect.
I'll share my... bed?

Re: New keyboard!
If I see a brand spanking new keyboard parked right in the corner of the room in the next AIGD episode, and the dev team sporting shiny lunch boxes... I'll know
