I collect old systems and handhelds. I've got my own mini museum in my apartment. But when I was a kid I had a game gear, but I traded it for an Atari Lynx! *facepalm* Then, a couple years ago, I stumbled onto another game gear and I made it a point to build up the game gear library the best I could, that's when I stumbled onto Defenders of Oasis.
Yeah, it's not really a great game, but it's not bad either... It keeps your attention if you're bored.
So if it wasn't for that I probably would've never played it.

//WHY NO SHINOBI YOUNG MAN?! I did play Ecco extensively for Game Gear. I also liked the Xmen game and Virtua Fighter.
I didn't have a console until I had the playstation 1. Parents decided to raise me on PC (Doom, Duke Nukem, Warcraft, Shareware) rather than Nintendo (Mario!), because that makes sense.
I'm just going to say, there is a lot I don't like about this list, haha. Mainly, a lot of N64 and Saturn games but no PlayStation ones. Maybe that just makes me mad because I didn't have the money to afford a Saturn and in 3rd grade I felt I was too grown up for the N64.
My parents bought him the N64, and they bought me the Playstation.
We both got money and jointly bought us a Sega Saturn.
Fawk. My parents bought me a Game Gear and "us" a playstation 1, I bought my own PS2, Xbox360, DS, PSP, and upgraded PC, and they bought Rosie a PS3!

hey hey hey, the game gear is nothing to complain about! Don't say anything you can't take back! Sure, it had shitty battery life, but had a few good titles! (was also HUEG)
I played a good deal of NGPC also. Did you ever play Sonic Pocket Adventure? I thought that game was actually damn good. It was like a remake of Sonic 2 for Genesis, and it had cool extras and unlockables.

Agreed. It looked clean, and I was impressed with how fast it ran on a portable system.
