Re: Thanksgiving
trufun, you were born in Alabama? Goddamn, we have so much in common. I definitely agree. I like cornbread dressing and huge amounts of cranberry sauce.

I thought you were from South America or somewhere deep within the Amazon...trufun202 wrote:Aight, its 1am and Thanksgiving is officially here.
So, which do you guys prefer - Cornbread Dressing or Stuffing?
If you don't know the difference, I'm gonna guess you like Stuffing. :P
I was born in Alabama and raised in Illinois, so I've had my fair share of both. To me, nothing beats cornbread dressing with canned cranberry sauce (with the aluminum can ridges intact) ...and it's only a few hours away, can't wait!
Oh, I getcha. 3rd-wroldie here wants to make himself feel special and pretend he's from the US!
edit: Oh, right. I prefer the Cornbread dressing--for some reason I've always hated stuffing. And, the last 3 thanksgiving's we've had a 16 pack of Bawl to compliment our bloatation...Fuck, I need to call Falco and tell him to pick us up a few on his way here.

Oh my god, it hurts to breathe...
It hurts sooo good. I'm trying to beat MegamanX2 in my bloated state.

Thanksgiving, 4:52PM and I woke up about a half hour ago. I don't think I'm going anywhere/doing anything. Maybe tomorrow instead. Haha, I love being lazy.

Not many leftovers with 16 people here. Am with my fiancee's family, they rent a cabin and everybody gets together.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

I was born in Dothan, AL. And damn, I must have eaten 3 pounds of cornbread dressing today.

Re: Thanksgiving
I love cornbread, but I've never heard of cornbread dressing? Stuffing is pretty good, not my favourite though. I don't like cranberry sauce at all. I guess that's just me

I did that way back in the day on the SNES. I can't even imagine how long it took, but I did it. Godspeed!GyroVorbis wrote:Peter, Marcel, and I were going to try to see if we could beat Chrono Trigger in one sitting at this point, haha.

We did that with Secret of Mana...and succeeded.

Re: Thanksgiving
I beat Sword of Mana and I own Final Fantasy Adventure. <3 They're so awesome.
I'm disappointed by Children of Mana and Heroes of Mana, though. Haven't played Dawn of Mana, but I haven't heard any great things about it.
What they need to play is the translated version of Secret of Mana 2. I'd let them borrow my copy of Legend of Mana if the game weren't worth $80. :S

Re: Thanksgiving
I have played a little bit of translated Secret of Mana 2 with the 3 player hack (I play with Marcel and Peter) on Dreamcast. It seriously kicked ass. Some of the best SNES graphics like... ever.
As for Final Fantasy Adventure, I really, really want to play it. One of my best friends that beat Link's Awakening with me (our favorite GB game) says that it's a close second.

Re: Thanksgiving
Falco, Final Fantasy Adventure is probably my most fav GB game, EVER. It's great fun! I definitely recommend you check it out! But just don't go in expecting it to be a normal Final Fantasy game, it's one of those weird Mana spin-offs, but it's still fun. as. hell. Great music too.GyroVorbis wrote:As for Final Fantasy Adventure, I really, really want to play it.
