I saw this a while ago, but I stumbled upon it again today, and it's still damn interesting.

Re: How to Imagine the Tenth Dimension
"all possibilities are contained within the 10th dimension" Mind boggling...
I'm a massive fan of LOST, and that uses different interpretations of the theories of time and space, so this stuff really interests me
It's very hard for humans to think of anything past the fourth dimension (I know I struggled).

I think I can program pretty well, it's my compiler that needs convincing!

And now a joke to lighten to mood :D
I wander what programming language anakin skywalker used to program C3-PO's AI back on tatooine? my guess is Jawa :P

That's deep. What else can you possibly say about the tenth dimension? I'm reading a book about the concepts of infinity right now for Physics class.. it's definitely fun to sit here for hours pondering the possibilities.

Sweet....
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

Thank you for sharing!
I really enjoyed that video, thinking about the tenth dimension is easy, unfortunatly we cannot actually live in it or coming up with all those posibilities
It took me a while to understand some of the concepts that the video was refering to like the folding of the dimentions, but I think I got it now.
Great video, thanks again

It was the same for me...LeonBlade wrote:Thank you for sharing!

That hurt my brain a bit... but I rather enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing!
Dear god, they actually ported ES to a piece of celery!MarauderIIC wrote:You know those people that are like "CHECK IT OUT I just made Linux run on this piece of celery [or other random object]!!"? Yeah, that's Falco, but with ES.

The guy has written a book too: http://www.tenthdimension.com/
Re: How to Imagine the Tenth Dimension
I like the part where the ant crossed dimensions without even knowing it. Kind of reminded me of the math behind the Möbius strip, from one of my previous Calculus classes.
Re: How to Imagine the Tenth Dimension
Lol this is so oversimplified. We cant prove more than 2 dimensions.... 2 dimensional isnt a dimension its just a part of our 3rd dimension. the guy on this video is an theorist/retard (for not telling everyone its a theory) looking for ways to sell his book.

Re: How to Imagine the Tenth Dimension
I hope you mean that we can't prove more than three dimensions!
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.
Re: How to Imagine the Tenth Dimension
im talking about quantom dimensions. 2d isnt actually a dimension its just a flat plane.MarauderIIC wrote:I hope you mean that we can't prove more than three dimensions!

2D is a dimension... It's a X and a Y dimension... (duh)Levio91 wrote:im talking about quantom dimensions. 2d isnt actually a dimension its just a flat plane.MarauderIIC wrote:I hope you mean that we can't prove more than three dimensions!
