Re: OpenGL SuperBible
That's the exact book that I used. But I don't know your experience level. Do you have any idea what you're doing with C++ or SDL?
Re: OpenGL SuperBible

Re: OpenGL SuperBible
Don't just read the book. Make a game or two (say, tic tac toe, pong, etc.). Then you should have enough experience (though I haven't really tried openGL yet ).BOMBERMAN wrote:yes, i do know how to use C++, and i'm almost finishing reading the book "Focus on SDL".GyroVorbis wrote:That's the exact book that I used. I've already programmed some games, including pong and some strange kind of space invaders. So... do I have enougth experience?Ginto8 wrote: Don't just read the book. But even if it is too advanced, you can always hold onto it for later.

Re: OpenGL SuperBible
Isn't the ebook available online for free somewhere?
Anyway, there's a new version of OpenGL out, they may release a new SuperBible soon.
I have the book for a class, but I haven't read through it yet. Still just go to Nehe and Videotutorialsrock.com if I get stuck with some OpenGL stuff... :P
