Ragnarok Online player server
Would anyone be interested in joining a Ragnarok Online player server?
Right now it's kind of small (but I like servers this way), rates are 25/25/25

Sure but I've never played RO, how would I get started? :D
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

Re: Ragnarok Online player server
I guess we're going to have to set up a torrent to get the prepatched game; or you can find the game and I'll get Dono to write up how to patch it yourself.
I'll talk to him about it tonight, him and I can seed for a bit.
It is one of my favorite mmo's, though. Maybe only because it's the only one I have been able to play with friends with, but it's so much deeper than WoW.
(I like being able to level up stats manually! This way, you can have different builds of a class, like agility knight or power/lance knight, crit assassin, speed assassin, etc)

I would be willing to try RO too, if you're making a server.
Quit procrastinating and make something awesome.

Oke. You basically just extract, and when you FIRST log in, you type
username_M or username_F
and your password, and that registers. Then just use
username
password
to log in after that.
When you first start a character, they don't have a class (you're a "novice"). You level up a little bit, reach Job level 10 (level up all your skills), then you can change your job in Prontera to Swordsman, Thief, Acolyte, Merchant, Archer or Mage, and after they reach job level... 50, I think? They can go towards one of two higher classes (ie, Swordsman can be a Knight or a Crusader).
This site has some info on it, with skill trees.

Re: Ragnarok Online player server
This was the first MMO I ever played, back when it was in beta, and then a little bit into when it went P2P. I'd be down to play again. What's this zip that is spoken of in this thread? I haven't seen any links up.

EDIT: Scratch this. Looked over a post.
Double edit: If this is a player created server where can I get the pre-patched version/link? Unless I'm missing something the link was to the original.
