And just to make sure we're clear, I'm the person that told you nicely that you could not parse a String with characters other than numbers as an Integer using Integer#parseInt in Java. You were the one that lashed back at me. It was your own incompetence and unwillingness to check your post for accuracy that caused your embarrassing (or not), dumbfounded reaction.

You've destroyed the concept of the author's article and have placed me in an undeserving spot. I am in no such way, a "Johnny One-Word," and to say so is completely incorrect. It was my choice to not further explain myself in my post because of my faith in common sense that you would have actually looked back at your post instead of reacting the way you did, and I was wrong in thinking that you had anything of the sort.

Have you even taken the time to read all of the descriptions of the different types of characters that the author writes about? I doubt it, or even if you cared, you'd probably think before making such a dubious post, or you would have at least noticed that the article was not a positive one.

And another thing, why are you so punctually worried about your "reputation"? I mean, surely you must realize that the handle "wearymemory" has seldom a reputation in these forums, and that it is absolutely NOT in analog to using your real name, right!? If you feel your reputation is damaged, just use another alias (like the one I recommend) and be done with it ( and act a bit less of an ass while you're at it ). Seriously, its not like you've revealed your real name like Falco and the guys, so STFU about it.
