Pixelart Tiles+items (beginner)
Well, I just thought I would post these, made them in a couple of hours for my game, I'm using Eclipse Game Maker (Yes, I know it's lame! )
Criticism would be nice!
And please, if you decide to use these, please leave a comment or something, or else I get sad.
The fanart.gif is not free to use! If I see any of those sprites anywhere I will do everything in my power to get them away, and I needed to fade the characters away since they are not made by me, since it's fan art to a game called Illutia.
(Just noticed the halberd's top is missing, and the bardiche too, oh well, to late to change it again right now lol..)
(My map editor got layers, so that's why some graphics can look a bit messed up (Like the water))

Wow, I think they're really good.
What're the fuzzy things on the second sheet?
Your style on the first sheet reminds me very much of a modernized 8-bit Zelda. I dig it.

I think for the piles of money you could at least flip them around or mirror them or something, make it a tad less obvious that you only did a recolor =)
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

Re: Pixelart Tiles+items (beginner)
Yeah, I didn't make them so serious yet, since I wont be able to do anything useful with these sprites in a long time I just copied and recolored since it's mostly to test out values and such on the thing I'm making.MarauderIIC wrote:I think for the piles of money you could at least flip them around or mirror them or something, make it a tad less obvious that you only did a recolor =)
Will continue with the next 3 attachments here over time!

Sorry I was tired when I wrote that... I didn't really have much to say on the topic... I'll be quiet from here on out...GyroVorbis wrote:Can you please start contributing useful things to topics?eatcomics wrote:Oh no those are just two identical piles... the person who owns them has OCDMarauderIIC wrote:I think for the piles of money you could at least flip them around or mirror them or something, make it a tad less obvious that you only did a recolor =)

Looks fun already. What kind of stuff did you have in mind for the game? I assume some sort of medieval fantasy rpg/adventure?
