Visual Adventure Log #002: "Creek Carnage"
Arce and I just got back from a weekend sleep-over at Hyper Shadow's house. Creek Carnage is the adventure of Hyper Shadow, Arce, and I while sleeping over at Hyper Shadow's house. The theme was more wilderness-like than the last one.
I'm very proud of how this adventure turned out. I didn't even think it'd be this great. BEAR IN MIND! We do some stupid stuff here! Don't try this at home!
This was at about 2:00 AM. Arce was in a deep sleep and Hyper Shadow and I were just chillin' out on his front porch. We then noticed his Poke'mon blanket (britches). We played who's that poke'mon on the blanket (I'm positive it had all 150! Now that's an awesome blanket!). Then, we took a permanent marker and circled all of the Dewgongs. That's Hyper Shadow in the blue and me with the jacket and green mushroom shirt pointing to the Dewgongs.
Close up on the now circled Dewgongs.
Hyper Shadow and I tried to wake Arce up to show him our work with the Dewgongs, but he just rolled over pissed off and went back to bed.
Now, earlier that day, we had a cup of tea. Hyper Shadow and I had green tea, but we gave Arce a cup of "PMS tea". For those of you who don't know what that is, or are too young, I'm not even going to tell you. For those of you who don't believe that it exists, lookie here:
We actually did have pictures of him forcing himself to vomit it up after we admitted what kind of tea it was. But for the sake of humanity, I won't post him barfing here.
Playing X-box, Dreamcast, and watching David Bowie Reality DVD all night long? OH GLORY!
That is Hyper Shadow eminating on his porch. We actually slept out there because the tent was underwater (litterally). We always MUST sleep outdoors during our adventures. MAN, that was SO FREAKING COLD! You can tell because of the dozens of blankets he has. (hah, just noticed the poke'mon book we were looking at on the table .)
That random pyramid that Hyper Shadow and I are on was created by his brother. Why? I don't know...
Hyper Shadow and I are far too cool to use a ladder to get into the treehouse. So I freeclimb up with Hyper Shadow below me.
PWNT! Hyper Shadow and I wave down at Arce, who took the picture, from the treehouse.
We are looking down at Arce from the treehouse. He stands in front of the creek.
I'm randomly dangling from a tree with Hyper Shadow next to me.
*WARNING DON'T TRY THIS!*
I climbed while hanging onto the bottom of the tipped tree over the water. Hyper Shadow hangs by one hand in the tree. Don't try this, I could've fallen in which would've really sucked, and Hyper Shadow cut his arm...
Hyper Shadow sits on some strange, physics defying vine, and I hang on a tree.
I balance accross the creek to an island with Hyper Shadow following behind. (looks like we're grinding Sonic Adventure 2 style!)
Arce also braves the creek behind us.
We found this tree and decided to get a picture to show some of the dangers of the jungle. See those spikes? Even the branches have those. If you fell into that, it'd go straight through like a sharp knife. Not to mention those spines you see are poisonous! That's one badass tree.
Hyper Shadow and I are raising our hands for no reason on a distant island.
Hyper Shadow (left) and I (right) walk off towards the next interesting thing.
Witness as Hyper Shadow and I work our way up the tree.
Apparently, Hyper Shadows cat, Max, has been following us on this adventure.
You can't really tell, but Hyper Shadow and I are sticking our heads out of some sort of hideout apparatus in the distance. In the foreground is some gnarled jungle vine.
That's me in the hideout/throne underground.
That's Hyper Shadow in the hideout/throne underground.
That's Arce in the hideout/throne underground.
That was the first half of our adventures. I hope you enjoyed it thus far. The second half is alot more extreme and Arce didn't go because he was pissed at us. We were ready to get wet and get our Matrix on! :!!!!:
Keep in mind that it's probably below freezing outside and we're in swimming suits and sometimes shirtless. Perhaps then you can feel our pain!
Anyway, this part of the adventure takes place deep within the jungle following the creek. We're going to show you a secret waterfall that we've known about for a few years. it's really awesome.
Hyper Shadow is dangling over the water on the bridge.
I'm dangling over the water on the bridge.
Hyper Shadow is sitting in the current.
I'm waddling in the current.
We're both trudging onward through the dense jungle towards our waterfall.
Random fork in the jungle path.
We walked through some sort of field to avoid the chilling waters.
We turn back to the creek as we near the secret place.
I'm walking. . .
TADA! Welcome to our top secret, nobody-else-knows waterfall known as the "Legendary Mother Load".
Side view of the Mother Load.
Hyper Shadow busts out matrix into the chilling waters of death.
I bust out a Matrix jump. I don't believe I've ever felt water that cold. Please remember not to swim during December.
I'm standing behind Hyper Shadow as he jumps off the waterfall.
Hyper Shadow thumbs up us as he climbs out of the icy waters of doom.
Check out my perfect "8-bit MegaMan" style jump (see my avatar). The damn dog got in the way of the picture though...
Freezing my ass off in the waters of death.
Thumbs-upping Hyper Shadow as I climb out.
Looking back passed the waterfall farther down the creek. Perhaps another adventure for another day?
Hyper Shadow and I enjoy our victory Pita Bread.
Looking back down at the creek for a last time as we climb up the side of the hill to exit.
More dense jungle.
Hyper Shadow and I came upon an abandoned trailer. Oops, now we're going to have to explore it..
Approaching the monstrosity.
It was so damn dark in there that I just stuck the camera in and flashed a picture without actually going in. This is what we saw 0_o
Well guys, I hope you've enjoyed our adventures. Please post your thoughts and opinions on this one. Until the next adventure!

You should pack flashlights. And crowbars to beat off the hobos. But flashlights would let you have (dun dun dun) night adventures! 'Course, hope your sense of direction is good...GV wrote:It was so damn dark in there that I just stuck the camera in and flashed a picture without actually going in.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

Hyper Shadow has a house FULL of animals. Like 5 cats and 2 dogs. Even the cats follow us on the adventures.Wutai wrote:Why was a dog with you?
Yeah! Dude, a night adventure. I didn't think of that. I'm going to start planning out the next adventure.MarauderIIC wrote:You should pack flashlights. And crowbars to beat off the hobos. I hope we don't die from pneumonia from that waterfall. Jesus, we need to learn to resist the water in the winter!

And, even better than that adventure, I had a way to stop my PMSing!
Seriously, that was a sick prank, and it made me throw up my stew.
If it were summer, we'd have shown you pictures of the other great partsof the creek. (Notice how I said WE in summer). the cave, the dropoff, the slide, and, DUN DUN DUN! Freeze your ass off hole. I think I heard somewhere that someone died in there. The underwater Dewgongs must have used Ice Beam or sumfin..
But seriously, I heard somewhere that someone went swimming there and the cold knocked them out, drowning them. i have no clue as to why it is so cold there, it just is..x.x Hyper Shadow, you live there, tell us, did someone die in freeze your ass off hole?

O.o What's that supposed to mean? It's a bit deeper than my head at most part. But one part there is a pointed rock, and you'd die if you landed on it. x.xNice secret falls you have there. I bet you guys were busting your ankles on that one. *feels your pain with the ice water
