Well, it was a horrible thing that happened, but I think we should just move on. We've got this topic to discuss all of the stuff for the project. We won. Let's get back to NEStix Chaotix.

I don't know if you got it or not, but I had posted a sprite sheet of Geno and asked if you could possibly make a single 2D sidescrolling version of him possibly so that we can critique him and adjust him to be cool and fit into the game.

Here is the sprite sheet:

I mean, don't think you have to make a whole new dude. Possibly find somebody with the same body structure as him and add his features. Don't make a whole sheet or anything, just one prototype so we can discuss him in depth.

The main character is a pretty big deal, so yeah, we'd like to talk about him.

Also, I'm getting back to work on the battle system right when I finish the hangman thing with dinosaur sniper (probably tomorrow).

Then after that is exams, and after that is christmas break where I should be able to dedicate lots of time to NEStix.

Okay, here is the Geno I recieved:

I thought maybe he looked a little horizontally skewed. I did a stretch horizontal 150% on him and I think he looks like the perfect size now:

Here is the original Geno so that we can tweak him. What do you guys think?

Look at the big (and horribly ugly) picture of Geno. Notice he has no shirt :watiff:

I can see that you tried to compensate by making it yellow.
I wonder how a black shirt would work. I'd make the shirt over his body black and the trimming and ring that keeps the cape on yellow. I have no clue how that'd look.

Also, notice that in SMRPG Geno is a toy. This game I really don't want him to be in the toy's body (that was the only aspect of him that I thought was a bit gay).

Also, maybe we could lighten up his skin a bit?

I'm impressed that you could make something that nice in a day. I like.
