I was looking at an older topic which asks if using a program like dark gdk is a cheap way to go about programming a game.

I want to make this hobby my career and I want to take the most efficient way to get there. Do you think making games using a program like dark gdk is more like what programmers do in the industry or is the route that the elysian shadows team taking more of what they are looking for?
