GOD FUCKING DAMNIT
It's about fucking midnight, we've all been recording shit all night, and GUESS FUCKING WHAT.
Our pro stick duo card in the digital camera shit its pants and now needs to be reformatted. We're freaking out and trying every data recovery program we can get our hands on, but things aren't looking good. We spent an entire night on this shit, and I'm piiiiiised.

Re: GOD FUCKING DAMNIT
Well, Peter and I were up until 3 AM. We downloaded about 10 recovery programs. We managed to recover every one of thousands of photos on the disk, but every single MP4 wound up corrupted.
Looks like we have a loooooong day ahead of us.

In such cases I use "testdisk" on Linux. Maybe "dd" to write an image, depending on what is damaged.

Actually, this did turn out to be the case, and all is good.hurstshifter wrote:The second takes will be twice as good as the first
We've just had to work extra hard today, and have about managed to catch up with where we should have been by now without last night's frustrations. Looks like things turned out all right after all.
