Hi! i have downloaded mario : the last castle. The game seem to be excellent but i have a little problem : the game run way too fast(and no that's not because i suck at videogame)! i can't even pass the first level. maybe those who gave it 3/10 have got similar problem.

I'm using windows 98. Is this the reason it play too fast? and good luck with nestix chaotix! this project seem very interesting but will probably be a very hard to create.

Hmm.... I too have windows 98 and it runs fine.... maybe your computer is far superior to my closet compoot. *cough* I think I forgot to program it to not go faster than a certain frame rate... since I didn't notice it. But don't worry, I plan to releace an easier version and I'll be sure to fix that problem. Thanks for pointing it out!

That sounds like a *cough* BlitzPlus issue.

Can you post your system specs?

i have never heard of this Blitzplus thing. What is it ?

For my spec it's a pentium 800 with 128 mo ram and 32 bits of virtual memory. I have got a similar problem with old DOS game and one freeware(satan sam i think). I will test it on other computer to see the difference. Thanks for replying so fast!

I got it, and it worked for a while, but whenever I clicked on it after a little while, it just went back to the folder that I stored it in. Weird.

Wierd. Your specs are far lower than mine and I don't seem to have that problem. I don't have music playing though, and the fade-out affects don't work.

Yes, I'm sure it's just a BlitzPlus problem. JSL will explain what it is to you. I can't help but bash it in every sentence I refer to it in. He's actually used it before so he'll be alot more useful than me.

Lets just say BlitzPlus is a piece of crap that should be burned alive... okay, I will say it is half way decent... but HORRIBLE uncompatible. But you see, I made that game quite a long time ago.. so I didn't know any better. Trust me, I'll never use it again.

I submitted a review to that Mario Fan place, but they might not accept it because of minor foul language and dissing of that "Sonic Team" fello.

I wrote up this huge long review explaining why JSLs game is the best in the site and proving that Sonic guy to be a moron.

The sub-par site asks for a username and password AFTER you review. So all that for nothing. . .
