I'm sure trufun is busy with work, his relatively new baby, and life in general. But I can't say no to signing this I'd love to see some more Golvellius updates.

Re: The Official Golvellius Thread
Damn guys, that's awesome. All the love is much appreciated - you guys made my day!
Yeah, devving at home has definitely taken a backseat to parenting. It's a full-time job, on top of the full-time job I already have! After a day's work and time with the kiddo, it's 10PM before I have time to sit and chill. By then it's time to have a beer, play a game of the 8-bit persuasion, and call it a night.
But, trust me, I constantly think about next steps for this project. In fact, I have my next "epic" video already planned out. The challenge, translating the 2D auto-scrolling dungeons of the original game into a compelling 3D experience. My solution is pretty innovative (in my opinion) and I think it will work. I'd love to see my idea come to fruition, all I need now is time.
As many of you know, game development has always been a passion of mine, so this and other gaming projects will always find their way into my life.
Sit tight, folks, there's more fun to come!

Re: The Official Golvellius Thread
Excellent news! You might want to try some time management techniques.
I know it helped me extend my effectiveness in a day to 150%.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to updates. Good luck!

7AM - wake up, feed the kiddo, get ready for work
8AM - leave for work
9AM - get to work
---work---
6PM - leave work
7PM - get home, give my wife a break from the kiddo
8PM - have dinner
9PM - family time
10PM - put the kiddo to bed
11PM - free time with my wife!
Midnight - Go to bed
I'm not bitching, I'm just saying.

Plan B: Build a time machine.
Oh.. You don't have time to build it. Right.
Plan C is a little tricky so bear with me.
Lock your wife and kid into a crate and send them to Alaska, build time machine, go back in time before you got married or had a full time job, finish the game before you announced you'd start working on it and wait. Then stop your other self from locking your wife and kid into a crate and sending them to Alaska, kill your other self, so there's only one instance of you in this universe, release the game after this post.

Re: The Official Golvellius Thread
I knew you'd be that busy. *I* have trouble making time myself, and I don't have a wife or children.
The signage in this topic signifies work well done, and a crowd of support when you get the time again. ;p
Best of luck to you, and thanks for still frequenting the forums like that with such a busy schedule.
