The NEXT upcomming case race
So the next caserace is comming up and what I'm thinking for the next one is that we need some contributions from participants to be able to pay for the winning prize of the competition. What I'm thinking right now is that the contributions could at least pay for some good books on Amazon or good software that is farely cheap unless we have a lot of participants. So what I want with this topic is to get everyone interested in participating to agree on prize for the next competition.
I'm thinking the next case race will be ON in either three or four weeks from now, so be prepared and also discuss when you will be available for the competition and what prize you would be interested in and so on, other thoughts are also welcome.
Cheers everybody, lets make the next case race even better than the first one!
Edit: I'm thinking about at least 5 USD from each competitor, I don't think it's too much to ask to get a sweet prize.

Re: The NEXT upcomming case race
I think a copy of this book would be a great prize (yes its inverted, not sure what to do about that) and I guess that would only apply if people don't already own the book.. most people serious about programming may have it though..

Re: The NEXT upcomming case race
Yeah that book sounds good. I think we could have a few different ones so the winner won't be dissapointed or simpoly gets to choose freely as long as the contributed money is enough.
Edit: Keep in mind that I also want/need to know who would like to participate and what dates you definetly can/can't be around.

Do you personally use any drawing books specific to your work on elysian shadows type art? Perhaps an exceptional photoshop book? Just ideas.pritam wrote:Yeah that book sounds good. Obviously I'm a C++ enthusiast, but here is another awesome book I love:
Any ideas other then books? I just figure they are something most people can relate too on here.

Re: The NEXT upcomming case race
I hear you short, and yeah currently the BEST ART BOOK I've ever had is Leonardo's Notebooks, I would've gotten a pic of me holding it, but I'm experiencing some technical difficulties at the moment, sorry. I bought it off amazon and it should probably be in the price range of competitors, can't remember exactly what I paid for it.short wrote:Do you personally use any drawing books specific to your work on elysian shadows type art? Re: The NEXT upcomming case race
I've come to the conclusion that the ES community is not the place for a case race, so I'm just putting a stop to it. I mean really, we're programmers, artists, musicians, not "professional" drinkers. Anyway, the first case race was pretty good haha. Cheers.
