First footage of MK9! E3 trailer. Nightwolf, Sector, looks like new tag team combos! mk is back. About time too after that Teen DC sidetrack.

Considering kung lao is my best character in mk, that ending fatality looks to be fucking brutal! It looks like they're taking a cue from street fighter iv and going back to a 2d style mechanic. I LIEK :mrgreen:

Oh damnz! Sign me up! As hurstshifter mentioned, I'm glad they went with the 2.5D approach, ala Street Fighter IV. The MK series kinda lost me after MK4, but I will be picking this one up.

How did I miss this thread? Mortal Kombat was one of my favorite game series growing up, this looks like everything we could of hoped for. :D

Haha! Of course! All kids growing up loved the gore of this game for the Genesis and SNES lol. Definitely can't wait to get this game.

I still remember my first Fatality... Kabal from Mortal Kombat 3, that was the first one I was ever able to pull off then the rest shortly followed.
