modem
How do I connect my wireless router to my modem and my computer? I have just bought a wireless router, because I want to connect my PS3 via a wireless connection. But, the ethernet port on the back of my computer is already being used by my modem. Do I need to connect both my modem and my wireless router to an ethernet port? Please help?

Re: modem
Home networking is pretty simple.
Here is a quick diagram I drew up for you:
The Red is the Coaxial Cable that goes into your modem, this should be hooked up and you can leave it alone.
The Green is the Cat5 cable (ethernet cable) that goes from the modem to the router.
And the Blue represents ways of connecting either wired through Cat5 cable to desktops (like how your current desktop machine is setup) or wirelessly to a laptop or soon to be your PS3.
Hope this helps.
