Are the controls better than the Wii's? Definitely. I'd expect no less coming from tech 4 years after Wii.

Will it make a difference? Nope. Wii exhausted all the usual possibilities, and many gamers are drifting back away from motion controls. Sony didn't really innovate. Wii already fixed its major tech issues with Motion Plus.

The controls better, fucking way better not just a slight improvement.
We're talking 1:1 tracking essentially perfect capturing in 3D not just 2D and an accelerometer to track other movements.
Will it make a difference? Yes.
Sony DID innovate big time, and gamers can take the possibilities of the Move much farther than Wii ever has.
And Wii fixed some problems with Motion Plus, but Motion Plus is NO WHERE near the power of the Move.

Honestly. This whole motion gaming thing is just stupid. There's no way your stick controllers make gameplay that much better. I prefer a good ol classic controller to this bull. I mean if there's going to be movement its either going to have to be like detecting your whole hand and body, or like a freaking virtual reality game.

I really like the idea of motiontracking, you have possibillities you don't have with a regular gamepad but it doesn't mean it's better in every case of course.

They already tried that, and it failed. You can't be accurate enough without a controller.
The EyeToy already proved this back in the years of the PS2.

The Move so far is the most advanced capturing there is, and it's amazing at how accurate it is.
You can determine every slight angle and path of motion your hand takes when swinging it.
If you have a sword, and you move it in a specific angle and pattern with a twist or whatever, the controller will know that.

What more could you really ask for?
And sure, a controller is going to be more hands on, but if you want to immerse yourself in an experience where YOU take control of the game, PlayStation Move delivers this to the consumers.
