how do i rate my favourite.
i mean currently its the xbox360 because the graphics are better than older consoles.
but for its time i loved my sega mastersystem with alex kidd embedded.
i probably played super nes the most however as all my friends had them.

how do i rate my favourite.

Well yes the Xbox 360 is capable of much better graphics, however I prefer a SNES over it because

*The majority of the game libary are decent games
*The graphics arn't that bad they are still 16-bit and packed with color
*I personaly think the SNES was just a NES with all the faults put right, for example the 8-bit was ok but it recycled colors way to much.
*Chrono trigger!

But don't just judge on Graphics/RAM/Power etc, try to also bring the games into it aswell, wouldn't it be nice if microsoft released a Xbox capable of 10000000000000000000000000000000000 polygons per frame? but that wouldn't make the games play good they would just make them look good.

There is no one best system, and as such any hardcore gamer isn't going to claim one console as their all-time favorite.

Nobody obesses over a single console but surely the would be one you like the most? For example I like the Xbox 360 and the NES, SNES, Ps1, Ps2, Ps3, Original Xbox but I spent the majority of my early child hood playing Nintendo 64 because it in my opinion it has the best libary of games

Zelda Ocarina of time & Majora's mask,
Mortal Kombat Trilogy,
Top gear,
Castlevania etc

You can't be telling me that you don't even have a opinion? Although I can understand you not wanted to get bashed for voting NES or somthing because the will be some prick saying "GAY! XBOX! GRAPHICS!".

But the point of this thread is I want to know what older consoles people would like, true I put the 360 in there but notice that hasn't even got a vote.

I have a favorite, but I also agree with DandyMcGee, if I had a choice of ONE and ONLY ONE. It wouldn't be a console in the first place, I've always been a PC gamer. but if you said I could pick more than one, they would be Sega Dreamcast, SNES, PS1, PS3, Commodore 64, Atari 3000. Both the last two aren't on the list :P and how could you honestly not love the PS1....

Alright, well you forgot Nintento Wii, Atari 2600, Every handheld (are those not consoles?? cus my GameBoy Advance got a hell of a lot more play time than my PS2 ever did), and Sega Genesis!!!
