I've completed my Poke'DEX on Poke'mon Leaf Green!
That's right, after 103:24 of play time (hrs:mins), I've finally gotten all 150 of the dirty mothers.
HS spent the night and after a rough night of doing nothing but training our asses off and scampering around trading madly, it's finally completed. I have all of them.
I went to Prof. Oak and all he said was "Oh... wow, nice. Now finish your National Poke'DEX [douche bag]".
Yeah, I caught all 150 of the classics, but I've still got about 100 more newfangled monstrosities to go.
To complete the regional Poke'dex you need to trade from Poke'mon Ruby and Sapphire. We have them both, and I'm pretty sure I'll go for it next week after Arce, HS, and Marcus have caught up.
Oh, and I went to the game freak dev room in Celadon mansion and was awarded a certificate... Whoopie do...
Anyway, yeah, you don't really get anything awesome, but you do get that warm/awesome feeling inside that you've caught every one of the little bastards...

If you like it, I don't believe in growing out of it. I think people just have impressions lain upon them by the media that something is too childish for them and thus they force themselves out of it.
I don't care for personal image. I don't give a damn about any of that. I have enough self-confidence to play a game that the whole world thinks is for 2 year olds. Hell, if a Barney/Barbie game was fun, I'd play it too.
I have no remorse.

I just think that there is a time when those things do get old. JS had a really good point. It is a repetitive game. Still the same old: Capture pokemon, make them your "friend", then put them into fights, become some 1337 pokemon slave driver, collect them all.

-casts RP (respect points) drain. Only gains .35 points! Gyro is now depleted of RP. TST WINS! Gained 5 AP and learned the spell Fira! Recieved 347 gold!- pwnedGyroVorbis wrote:It's no different than any other RPG. You guys are just hating on it because the Poke'mon "smile" instead of make putrid frowns when they fight.
You really should be ashamed. How about some people with damn respect back me up. Hyper Shadow? Showdin?
