Magical Computer Skillz

For some odd reason, my computer never works for me. I turn it on, and as soon as I do, it shuts down. I try to get on the internet, an error message pops up and it kicks me off.

When I can't get it to come on, my brother walks up, presses the power button EXACTLY like I had been doing, and the computer turns on. When I can't get on the internet, my brother walks up, clicks on internet explorer EXACTLY as I had been doing, and it works.

I'll get on the computer, and it'll mess up and stop working. I leave because it isn't working, and my brother gets on. It works perfectly for him, so my mother tells him to let me get on. As soon as I get on, it stops working. I leave, and my brother gets on again. It works perfectly for him.


Stuff like this happens all of the time.
Has anyone else had anything like this ever happen?

Maybe it has something to do with a problem on your user account profile? But then again, it wouldn't force it to turn off like that...

No, before even an image shows up it shuts down.

Suggested courses of action (in suggested order):
Stop all background processes running on your computer.
Make sure that nothing is taking up all of your memory.
Uninstall anything that gobbles up resources.
Scan for viruses.
Get a new ID.
Uninstall programs you don't use.
Get linux. XD
