That's right, after countless hours of fighting solo with it, feeding it poke'blocks, giving it sodas and drinks, never once letting it die, training my ass until I didn't think I could take it any more -- and it has happened, my freaking Eevee has FINALLY friendship evolved into its Dark evolution: Umbreon.
At first, it started to evolve and when it was changing I saw the shape of Espeon. I freaked out and stopped it. I was really puzzled because my Eevee tried to become Espeon at night instead of Umbreon. I was right about to say screw it and just settle for Espeon when I thought that I might try to level it up a few more levels and see if it maybe tries to evolve into Umbreon, and it did.
I'm proud. I have my pride. I'm sure none of you people here could've friendship evolved your Eevees.
Oh, and Hyper Shadow, if we ever hope to finish our Poke'DEX, there is no way in hell that I'm getting Espeon. NO WAY! I've gone through WAY too much for Umbreon. You go for Espeon now. Not to mention he is pychic and would make a perfect addition to any well-rounded team.
MY EEVEE HAS FINALLY EVOLVED!!!111ONEONE

Yep.
If you've still got that "old school" hype where you feel like playing Blue, Red or Yellow, definately pick up Fire Red (equivalent to Red) or Leaf Green (equivalent to blue). It's got the same oldschool poke'mon, people, places, and things with added adventures and places.
If you're ready for a brave and bold new world, try Ruby and Sapphire. I think they're my all-time favorite versions, but I can't stand some of the newfangled Poke'mon on there. They completely lack originality and detail...
Thank god Sapphire/Ruby and Leaf/Fire are connectable. That way I can transfer my classics over to Ruby and Sapphire.
