Arce and I were playing Kirby's Dreamland 3 for the SNES (on Dreamcast), when we found something that made both of us nearly crap our pants.

Guess who showed up in Kirby!

That's right, everybody's favorite professor Hector of Gyromite fame and the Robotic Operating Buddy (ROB) showed up in Kirby.

Man, this Kirby game has just gained a newfangled respect in my book.

OH MY GOD!!! Dude! I just played half way through that level the other day and my SNES shut down on me! I almost shit my drawers just from the screen shot! I'll go play so I can see gyromite!

I still cannot believe that was in this game.

Gyro and I looked online. You find parts of ROB throughout the level, and if you get them all he's taller than Kirby! Iâ€™m going to try and do that.

Gyrovorbus and Showdin beat it yesterday while I was playing DK 64. I've got a way to go still.

Samus is also in Kirby's Dreamland 3, as well as a metroid (there may have been more than one, actually). I forget which level, though.

Yeah, I ran into Samus on some sort of ice level later on, I do remember that.
