Welcome, my friend. Don't bother with the site, it's being completely redone at this very moment. Just give it a few weeks and it'll be completely different.

To change your avatar and such use the Profile link at the top of the page.

Also, there are secret forums that only certain "usergroups" can view. You can try to join a usergroup by using the "usergroups" link at the top of the page.

Well, for a quick spelling lesson, it's site, but no one cares. Anyway, The Chaos Rift is a game devolopment site, and also somewhat of a gaming fansite. Just don't spam up topics, and you'll be fine.
